Ski Review

In a fall, PERMA-SNOW™ is an improvement on the bristle filament as it does not stab due to the gentleness of the looped surface. The loops are cushioning and have a minimal abrasiveness that is unlikely to cause any grazing should a skier fall. It is soft and forgiving.

A description of PERMA-SNOW™ by a ski expert who carried out trials on the product is 'It looks like snow, feels like snow, and skis like snow'.

PERMA-SNOW™ tests have shown that the track of a skier turning remains in the surface until the next skier travels across the track - 'just like snow!'. Technically, this allows an instructor to demonstrate to the pupil some skiing techniques through demonstration and illustration. PERMA-SNOW™ has a range of surfaces to suit all levels of skier from the tuition of the raw beginner to the expert enjoying open practice.

In almost all weather conditions the Perma-snow surface will not need to rely on a misting system although the gliding efficiency of the surface may improve with moisture.
